| Warranty Limitations and Exclusions Southeastern Portable Buildings Inc. makes no warranty expressed or implied, as to the fitness or particular purpose of the products it produces. Southeastern or Horizon buildings are not built for habitation. This warranty will only apply to buildings that are delivered and set up by authorized personnel. The set up of your Southeastern or Horizon building is the responsibility of the company and or the personnel that they have authorized to do so and any defects or deficiencies arising there from will be the responsibility of that said company that performs the delivery, leveling, and set up. Southeastern Buildings warranty will be null and void to any defects or failures arising from the improper delivery, blocking and or leveling of Southeastern and or Horizon buildings. Any defects or failures would then become the responsibility of the company who performs the delivery, set up, and leveling of your building. Southeastern Buildings also can not be liable for the natural settling of its product due to condition of the earth that it is set up on. Due to the natural characteristics of some lumber and other wood products, some minor warping, twisting, splitting, and knot holes can possibly occur. Being that these are the natural characteristics of wood Southeastern will not be liable for these occurrences. In the event that any one or more of these natural wood characteristics causes a structural failure up to twenty years from date of delivery Southeastern Buildings will repair the defective lumber free of charge. Southeastern Buildings reserves the right to take photographs, investigate and make determinations if a warranty claim is valid. If in finding a warranty claim to be valid Southeastern Buildings reserves the right to repair, refinish, or replace any defective materials or workmanship at their discretion to bring the building back to properly functioning. Roof Leak Warranty only covers leaks due to poor workmanship and or defective materials. Southeastern Buildings warranty will not apply to any of its products or any part of that have been damaged by abuse, fire, flood, hail, harmful chemicals, adverse weather, natural disasters, falling trees or any part of, acts of God or nature, neglect, alterations, accidents or vandalism. Southeastern Buildings will not be liable for indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to the contents of your Southeastern or Horizon Building or any lost profits resulting there from. 20 year paint warranty Painted finish of the aluminum siding is warranted to not peel, crack, blister, or flake under conditions of ordinary wear for a period of twenty years from date of delivery. This warranty does not cover any kind resulting from fire, lightning, hail, ice storm, windstorm, earthquake, acts of God, harmful chemicals, fumes or vapors, misuse, abuse, fading, chalking, erosion or paint or other causes beyond our control. Any claim must be reported promptly after any peeling, cracking, blistering, or flaking has occurred. If after inspection Southeastern Buildings determines that the claim is valid under this warranty, it will at its option, either refinish or replace the siding panels in which any peeling, cracking, blistering, or flaking has occurred. Southeastern Buildings will pay 100% of the cost of such refinishing or replacement during the first year of the warranty, 95% during the second, and the coverage will decrease five percentage points each year for the remainder of the of the warranty period. Claims Procedure In order to initiate a claim under this warranty you should contact the company from which you purchased the building from or Southeastern Buildings within 30 days of finding the defect. All warranty claims will not be valid unless a proof of purchase and or receipt of purchase are provided and proper delivery date is recorded. *Proper set up procedure for Southeastern and Horizon Buildings. Proper set up of your Southeastern or Horizon building encompasses bringing the building to an approximate level and placing blocks and or pillars on each end of the two skids located under the building and other blocks and pillars to be placed at intervals not to exceed no more than 6’ in between the blocks and pillars located on the ends of the skids. Blocking should be approximately level and be firmly supporting the skid located above it. |
